An exciting opportunity presents itself for a Cyber Security Senior Software Data Engineer to join our diverse and unique team as we re-engineer and transform the way we strengthen Macquarie’s digital security posture.

As a hands-on Senior Software Data engineer, you will be leading and bringing your team of engineers on a journey in driving and designing a completely automated solution enabling self-service security scanning and remediation. At the core of this solution is a data lake and a single pane on demand view that is delivered via an inhouse built microservices/microportals platform.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and re-engineering batch and/or real time solutions involving data pipelines using Python, Airflow etc.
  • Expertise in shipping high quality software through automation and proven best practices
  • Experience in microservice development using Python
  • Hands on experience of CI/CD deployments on public cloud environments such as AWS or similar
  • Exposure across data analysis and providing of insights
  • Possesses a highly outcomes driven and customer obsessed mindset
